Our Sales Director, Gareth Hall, pictured above, has been a core member of the team for over 20 years now!
So we thought we'd celebrate his monumentous work anniversary by lifting the lid on his role, so you can learn everything you need to know about the man who is leading the team successfully and helping the business grow from strength to strength.
I started in the industry over 30 years ago and joined Fine Control's 20 years ago as the Product Manager for the Burkert product range of valves and instruments. Prior to joining Fine Controls, I was product manager for the Burkert product range at a company called ABD Instrumentation, so I've many year's experience working with process valves and instruments.
I was offered the position of Sales Director in 1998 and have helped the company to grow and develop over the years. It's been a great achievement to see where the business was back then and where we are today- a £4 million turnover company that is supplying process instrumentation to our UK and international clients, in all corners of the globe.
I carry out a number of roles on a daily basis including internal sales, site visits, web development and digital marketing, so I've a very varied role. The one thing that I enjoy most is the specifying and selling of our products, even after 30 years in the industry I still get a buzz out of it.
At Fine Controls we've always prided ourselves on our technical ability as a solutions provider and feel with the extensive knowledge we have within our team there's very few enquiries that beat us, but we're always happy to have customers challenge us with more difficult applications!
