MKI |
LANDON KINGSWAY MKI - FREE FALL FIRE VALVE
The Landon Kingsway range of free-fall fire valves provide a compact, leak-proof positive action mechanism that can be installed in either horizontal or vertical pipe runs on oil, gas or any non-aggressive media. The valve may be used for either cut-off or dump applications. The free-fall linkage allows the weight to start to fall before it is required to move the valve lever. This makes sure that the weight achieves sufficient momentum.
• Material: Cast Iron
• Max. Pressure: 14 Bar
• Standard Cable: 9m
• Valve Rotation: ¼ turn
• Fusible Link: 71°C as standard

MERCURY SWITCH |
LANDON KINGSWAY MERCURY SWITCH - FREE FALL FIRE VALVE
The Landon Kingsway mercury switches are designed to be used in conjunction with our Free-Fall Fire Valves to provide position sensing or to cut power to oil burner pump motors in the event of a fire. The unit is available in both a single and three-phase style although the three connections on the threephase version could be used to control three singlephase devices. Both versions contain contacts that remain closed while the valve is in its’ normal state (one contact on the single phase, 3 on the 3-phase) and a separate normally open contact that is suitable for sounding an alarm as it closes if the valve lever drops.
• Enclosure Weatherproof grey epoxy coated steel plate.
• IP65 rated • Dimensions 139 x 177 x 48mm • Fixing Centres 102mm • Electrical Entry 20mm conduit knockout • Contact Rating 5A, 250V ac max. • Weight 0.6kg

MKI |
LANDON KINGSWAY MKI - SOLENOID QUICK RELEASE MECHANISM
The Solenoid Quick Release Mechanism MKI is designed to provide a simple electro-mechanical release mechanism for gravity-operated devices such as the Landon Kingsway free fall fire valve. The system consists of a steel cable wound around a drum with a solenoid arranged so that when energised the drum is locked in place. If the electrical supply to the solenoid is interrupted then the solenoid latch releases the drum and the weight of the attached load causes the cable to unwind. The MKII unit is as above but incorporates two switched power outputs, one normally on and turns off, the other is normally off and turns on in the event of an emergency.
Available in: • SQRM Mkl 24vdc • SQRM Mkl 110vac • SQRM Mkl 230vac • SQRM Mkll 24vdc C/W Aux Switches • SQRM Mkll 110vac C/W Aux Switches • SQRM Mkll 230vac C/W Aux Switches

CABINET |
LANDON KINGSWAY CABINET - DRY RISER INLET & OUTLET CABINETS
Dry riser gate valves act as outlets from the riser main. These valves are situated on each floor of the high rise building and are normally housed in outlet cabinets which are manufactured to BS5041 part 4. Dry riser gate valves come complete with inlets flanged 65mm BS4504 PN16, 2.5”BS10 table D and screwed 2.5” BSPT, outlets to BS336, complete with blank cap and chain, strap and padlock, complying to BS5041 part 2. An inlet breeching at ground level provides the connection to the water supply. The system is normally dry and is charged by the fire brigade in an emergency. Breeching inlets have either 2 or 4 inlet connections complete with 2.5” male instantaneous inlets to BS336 fitted with non-return valves, 1” drain valve and caps and chains. A 100mm (4”) rising main uses a 2-way inlet breeching in a vertical or horizontal position. A 150mm (6”) rising main uses a 4-Way inlet breeching.
Available in:
• Dry Riser Outlet Cabinet
• Dry Riser Inlet Cabinet
