|
Extended Globe Valve Range
The Burkert range of Intelligent Globe Control Valves are now available up to 4-inch flanged.
Burkert now offer the Type 2712 and Type 2012 in a broader range of sizes, with 50:1 range ability and three trim sizes, giving the 2712 greater flexibility in accurately controlling applications.
Using Burkert’s electronic positioner fine position control, low dead band and excellent repeatability are achieved.
With the option for networking in centralized or decentralized process control systems, and ASi-, PROFIBUS- and DeviceNet-capable. The Type 2012 on/off globe valve features the same piston actuator used in Burkert’s Type 2000 Y-Pattern Angle Seat Valve, field-proven for 5 million cycles.
Conversely, ball and butterfly valves have typical lifetimes of 250,000 to 500,000 cycles.
Burkert Type 2712 and Type 2012 Globe Valves
The Type 2712 and Type 2012 globe valves handle neutral and aggressive fluids, gases and steam. Available in flanged, threaded port, tube weld end and Tri-Clamp® configurations all with 316L stainless steel bodies. These valves are used extensively in the pharmaceutical, water treatment, food/beverage and textile industries.
