01/06/2011 - FINE CONTROLS LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE
Fine Controls is pleased to announce the launch of our new website! With input from the whole team at Fine Controls, our new website featured many new products and is much easier to navigate around.
Old features such as datasheet and manual downloads are still present, with every PDF being current and up to date with the manufacturers literature. The most noticeable, and helpful, addition is the product navigation bar to the left of the site; this enables the user to easily select a product regardless of brand recognition or technical knowledge. All of our product ranges are now cross referenced between product categories and brand categories, making finding your instrument or valve simple and hassle-free.
In addition to products from our key partners Fairchild, Burkert, Siemens, Midland ACS, Alcon, Jordan Valve and Status Instruments, we now also feature a number of new products that we feel compliment our existing product portfolio. These new products include; Fire Protection Equipment from Landon Kingsway, Needle Valves from Oliver Valves and Control Valves form EMSR in Germany.
We have now featured our Technical Department in the new 'Engineered Solutions and Services' menu, here our customers can view a selection of systems designed and built at Fine Controls. We are regularly requested to provide advice on how best to integrate many of our products into small and medium sized systems and many of our customers are happy to let us take it further and design, build and commission bespoke systems for them.
We hope that our customers enjoy using the new Fine Controls website!
01/06/2011 - EXCLUSIVE UK DISTRIBUTOR TO FAIRCHILD INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS
Fine Controls (UK) are proud to be the EXCLUSIVE UK DISTRIBUTOR for the Fairchild range of precision pneumatic and electro pneumatic controls. All Fairchild products are renowned for their quality, accuracy and durability. We have unsurpassed experience in the guidance of customers in the selection and application of Fairchild products.
PRECISION PRESSURE REGULATORS:
Whatever the application, simple set point control, accurate pressure measurement, sub-atmospheric, aggressive environments or high flow capacity. Fairchild has a regulator designed for your specific needs, all of which incorporate high sensitivity and extreme stability. If we cannot meet your specification nobody can!
VOLUME BOOSTERS, RATIO, BIAS COMPUTING AND SELECTOR RELAYS:
- Do you need to multiply or divide a pneumatic signal?
- Or provide a positive or negative bias?
- How about averaging, totalising or amplifying the differential between signals?
- Select the higher or lower of two signals?
The Fairchild range of pneumatic relays offer as many solutions as you have questions.
I/P CONVERTERS:
The Fairchild T6000 and T7800 series offer the low cost, high specification solution to interfacing electronic control with pneumatic actuation. Standard process mA or Vdc inputs are converted to any one of six output ranges from 3-15 psi to 0-120 psi. Vibration and supply pressure immune, these units will accept supply pressure up to 150 psi without the need for a supply regulator. The T7800 series also incorporates internal feedback to provide improved accuracy (typically 0.1% F.S). Available with Cenelec/FM/CSA approval for Explosion-proof and intrinsically safe area operation. EExd, EExia - ex-stock!
P/I CONVERTERS:
T8000 series accept any of six pneumatic inputs from 0-15 psi to 0-120 psi and provide an output of either 4-20 or 10-50 mA. Up to two P/I channels may be installed in each housing. Explosion-proof and I.S. operation approvals available for hazardous areas.
MANIFOLD MOUNTING AND ACCESSORIES:
T600, T7800 and T8000 series units are all available with an optional manifold system enabling 3, 5, 10 or 15 units to be mounted with a minimum of pipe work. Each position has integral check valves, allowing simple ‘plug-in' pneumatic connection. A range of auto-manual stations are also available to maintain and monitor output pressure.
01/06/2011 - BURKERT PRESENTS MultiCELL 8619 - NEW TRANSMITTER/CONTROLLER
Burkert is expanding its line of modular measuring and control instruments with versatile multiCELL transmitters/controllers for use with different sensor types. MultiCELL can be adapted to different applications and used for measuring flow rate, pH, ORP or conductivity, for example.
The multiCELL multichannel transmitter/controller from Burkert is a complete, highly versatile analysis measuring system for diverse areas of application, including water treatment, foodstuffs and pharmaceuticals. It consists of a full-featured basic modular unit whose functions can be individually enhanced as needed by adding hardware and soft-ware. The basic unit is already equipped with a large backlit display, user-friendly softkey controls, two digital and frequency inputs, direct connections for various sensor types, as well as two digital and two analogue outputs.
Depending on signal requirements, up to six pre-configured I/O boards can be added. Software packages can be installed for further enhancements of the transmitter functions. The advantage for users is that they pay only for the features that are actually needed. Since the multiCELL enables use of a standard transmitter type for different applications, such as analysis measuring technology for pH and conductivity, or flow rate measurement, the costs for employee training and warehousing of different variants are also reduced. The unit is ideal for multi-variable measurements in combination with multichannel control functions and use as a data logger.
