LIQUID DISPENSING PANEL

Application:

To design a system for the dispensing of liquid ingredients in to a bread recipe. The batch sizes would vary and needed to be kept at good accuracies with viscosities changing on temperature change. The system also needed to have the facility for test calibration batches to be called for. Requests for batches would be sent from a control room PLC.

Solution:

A bespoke control panel was designed using a series of Burkert oval gear flow meters, panel mount flow transmitters, pilot operated piston valves and a series of manual diverter and isolator ball valves with interlocks to limit the potential for requesting an incorrect batch.
